Pearl Jam was formed in the U.S. Seattle, Washington in 1990. The band members are: Eddie Vedder vocals and guitar, Mike Mcready lead guitar, Matt Cameron drums, Stone Gossard rhytm guitar and Jeff Ament bass guitar.

Pearl Jams debut album was named "Ten" with this album they scored 3 hits; “Even Flow”, “Jeremy” and “Alive” Pearl Jam became one of the most successful and popular rock and roll bands of the 1990’s. They reached a large mainstream audience, and has released 8 albums. Pearl Jam have sold over 60 million albums world wide. Pearl Jam has won many awards such as: American Music Awards, a Grammy award and MTV awards.

Now Pearl Jam has announced four concerts in Europe and luckily they are coming to the amazing venue the O2 arena. The 18^th of August all Pearl Jam fans have the chance to come to the O2 Arena and see this Rocking band live! Other places and dates Pearl Jam will visit are: The Netherlands Rotterdam the 13^th of August, Germany Berlin 17^th of August, UK Manchester the 17^th of August.

Pearl Jam will most probably have their 9^th album release during the fall of 2009. There are plans for a full European tour in 2010 after the album release. If you don’t want to wait that long then you better buy your tickets for Pearl Jam quick!
