The fabulous tenor Andrea Bocelli is coming to London the 24th of September. He will give a concert in the O2 Arena. The 50 year old tenor grew up in a little village Lajatico he started playing the piano when he was six. When he was one year old doctors discovered that he was born with poor eyesight. After a soccer incident he became blind at the age of 12. the accident did not stop him from becoming one of the greatest singers in the world.

Andrea Bocelli is the best selling classical singer in the world surpassing Pavarotti! Bocelli recorded 19 classical and pop album and 9 opera albums. During his career he sold over 65 million copies during his career.

Andrea Bocelli had his break through mainly in Italy 12 years ago with his very popular Viaggio Italiano. The fourth album named “Romanza” is a album with more pop music on it, with this album he scored his first international hit “Time to Say Goodbye” . In 1999 Bocelli was nominated for best new artist at the Grammy Awards, That same year he won a Golden Globe Award for the album Sogno.

2008 he released a new album The best of Andrea Bocelli: Vivere. This is his first ever hit compilation album.
