Enjoy Bollywood flair on stage
by
Jannike
on Fri 19 Mar 2010 13:07 GMT
India
is on its way up, experience the Indian way of life in “The
Merchants of Bollywood” at the Peacock Theatre in London...
Bollywood
is not only famous for being the world’s largest film industry, it
is also the most prolific one. All of the movies have similarities:
Most of the time they are constructed like a musical with dancing
scenes in between. The mixture of the Indian way of life and the
Western lifestyle provides a fresh entertaining result.
Of
course, it is always different when you see a real musical. For this
reason, a Bollywood musical can now be seen at the Peacock Theatre in
London.
Visiting
‘The Merchants of Bollywood’ means more than just seeing the
Indian way of life, you will become part of it, sense it - at least
for this evening. Vibrant dancing scenes, gorgeous colourful costumes
and a heart-warming plot promise a hilarious evening.

Les Miserables on London's theatre playground...
by
Magdalena
on Fri 12 Mar 2010 16:14 GMT
The
world’s most popular musical, already seen by over 56 million
people worldwide in 42 countries, translated in 21 languages and also
the world’s longest running musical – That’s nothing to
sneeze at, I’d say!
When
Les Miserables recently went on sale all box office records
were broken in theatre’s history. What makes this musical so
special that no one wants to miss it?
Set
in the 19th century the musical perfectly conveys the
rough atmosphere of this period: Authentic costumes, fabulous
performances and the ups and downs of the main characters highlight
the difficulties of this time and make this musical to one of the
must- go attraction of this year.
Book
your tickets easily on-line!
Not
to forget, this year Les Miserables celebrate its 25th
anniversary, therefore it is the perfect occasion to carry out long
postponed plans to go to the musical...

know the story of “The Phantom of the Opera”?
Again one of
those stories in which there is a connection to supernatural powers-
a very popular topic just now considering for example the hype of
twilight.
"Love
never dies" is the exciting resumption of “The Phantom”: Christine
Daae, the main character receives an offer from one of the most
gorgeous playgrounds of the world in New York- Coney Island.
Arriving together with her family she soon detects the real identity
of the anonymous impresario...
If
you like touchy exciting stories then this musical is right up your
alley!

Blaze- Dancing for life
by
Jannike
on Tue 09 Mar 2010 15:46 GMT
Every
young person knows this amazing experience,
older people might remember it. I’m talking about the feeling
in a club, when the music is exactly to your taste and you can’t
keep your seat having the
strong urge to move your body to the rhythm of the music. Rarely
you come into a status that you think that your body is moving to the
music by itself. An astonishing crazy and likewise satisfying
sensation.
Imagine
you feel the strong urge to move,
not only when you listen to some certain songs, but while
listening to every kind of music... There are some people
exceptionally gifted who are able to move to every kind of music.
These people you can find in the Blaze Musical dancing to a
fare-thee-well.
Watching
these professionals whose bodies seem to move by themselves is just
gorgeous. They seem to become one with the music – pure aesthetic!
A
mix of nightclub vibes in combination with West End production values
will provide the music of the night.
Be
aware that visiting this musical means witnessing the world’s
hottest DJs, B-Boys and street dancers...

by
Jannike
on Fri 19 Feb 2010 17:51 GMT
Financial
crisis aside... Though we have less money at hand we can’t go
without any fun! Saving big bucks and waiting for better times means
that you conditions your mood on the money... Don’t do that,
otherwise you will miss an awesome time of your life!
The
less money we have shouldn’t be saved for better times when we
anyway are cheerful because of our success at work. Now is the right
time to improve your temper by going out with friends or taking part
in cultural events. Believe me, it
is proofed that working good-humoured is much more effective.
Our
job it is to provide you with deals which find a compromise between
having less money and taking part in cultural
events.
London’s
famous theatre scene offers as you probably already know a wide
range of outstanding musicals. It’s kind of a guarantee that your
spirits are lifted after having seen a musical :-). I
know, what you want to say now and yes, you are right: Musicals are
expensive and especially the stay in a hotel after the show is
usury. However
our firm works hard to supply you with best offers embracing a
night in a hotel and a musical visit for as cheap as possible.
Don’t
worry, I know that after a chick musical you don’t want to go in a
tacky, run down hostel where scabies finishes you off. Be sure that a
3 star hotel will top your fabulous evening in London!

It's your right to remain pink!
by
Lina
on Fri 29 Jan 2010 11:43 GMT
"And last night, I finally got to see the show. Regular readers won’t be
surprised to hear that I loved it. (It’s a girly, giggly, pink,
hilarious musical– what’s not to like?!) To be honest, I’d happily watch it again tonight. And tomorrow. And the next day…" (Zoe J. Griffiths, the VisitLondon blog) This review on Legally Blonde the Musical kind of makes you want to go see it, doesn't it? Legally Blonde the Musical is based on the comedic film about the over the top bubbly society girl Elle Woods and her struggle to attend the prestigious Harvard Law School. Wearing exclusively pink clothing she's quite an eyecatcher among the suited up bores that usually are seen in the courtroom and she'll colour up any grey day of the week. It's a lovely, easy and humouristic film and hence perfect to turn into a musical. Legally Blonde the musical, with british comedy actress Sheridan Smith in the leading part, is shown at the Savoy Theatre in London's West End. Check out our special offer at gift-tours.com and let Elle Woods blow every ounce of winter melancholy off your mind! Book online or call our friendly staff. The show must go on...
by
Lina
on Fri 22 Jan 2010 10:20 GMT
When I was little, like
8-9 years old I had a huge crush on a man I could have never had, and of
that I was fortunately without knowing of. First of all, of course, I
was under age. Second thing, this man was not only an extremely
charismatic, talented and respected celebrity famous all over the
world, but also gay - and dead since for about 4 years before I fell
in love with him.
The man I’m talking
about is (of course) Freddie Mercury, the leadsinger of my all time
favourite band – Queen! I never got to see them play since their
last concert as a whole group was in the year I was born, 1986. But
now I’ve got the chance to get at least a sense of what it would have been
like through seeing We Will Rock You The Musical, shown at the Dominion Theatre.
It was written by Ben
Elton in association with Queen members Brian May and Roger Taylor. It
takes place in the distant future, 300 years from now, where music made
from other instruments than computers is absolutely prohibited.
Galileo Figaro and Scaramouche, a young man and woman, are set to
save the world from a living hell and instead bring back the joy of
living rock.
